Vintage Spode Blue and White Italian pattern china plate. This is Spode’s most famous and enduring pattern and was first produced in 1816 and continued in production until 2009.

The Italian Pattern is one of Spode’s most famous and enduring pattern, having been introduced in circa 1816 and in continuous production until the Spode factory closed in 2009. The design was immediately popular and remained a best seller over the years. It was produced on a large variety of pieces, with a catalogue from the 1920’s/30’s recording over 700 different shapes available.

Ideal for use as serveware or as a decorative wall plate.
